This policy explains what Livezen Technologies (Pvt) Ltd does with personal information collected through livezentech.com. We are a company registered in Sri Lanka (PV 126898) at 4th Floor, 388/7/D New Kandy Road, Kaduwela 10640, and we are responsible for the information described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect information in three ways.
What you send us. When you submit an enquiry, request a consultation or apply for a role, we receive what you type into the form: your name, company, email address, telephone number, the services you selected, your message, how you heard about us, whether you asked to sign an NDA, and any preferred date and time for a call. Nothing in that form is required beyond your name, email and message.
What the chat widget collects. Our live chat runs on our own WorkSuite platform rather than a third-party service. It stores an identifier in your browser so a conversation survives a page reload, along with the messages you send.
What the web server records. Like any web server, ours logs the IP address, date, requested page, referring page and browser identification for each request. These logs exist to keep the site running and to identify abuse.
We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not buy personal data about you from anyone else.
2. How we use your information
We use enquiry details to reply to you, prepare a quotation or proposal, and deliver work you have asked for. Where an enquiry becomes a project, those details form part of our client records.
We use job applications to assess candidates for the role applied for.
We use server logs to operate and secure the site — diagnosing faults, and detecting scraping, brute-force attempts and other abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.
We will only send you marketing email if you have asked for it, and every such message carries an unsubscribe link.
3. Cookies and analytics
The site sets no cookies when you first arrive.
If you open the live chat, it stores an identifier in your browser (a cookie and a matching browser-storage entry) so your conversation is not lost when you move between pages. If you submit a form, a short-lived security cookie is set to protect against cross-site request forgery. Your light or dark theme preference is remembered in your browser and is never sent to us.
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any other third-party analytics or tracking service on this website.
4. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell or rent personal information.
Three external services are contacted by your browser when you load our pages, and each can therefore see your IP address: Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) for typefaces, and jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net) for common JavaScript libraries. Our chat widget is served from our own platform at app.worksuite.lk.
We share personal information with others only where it is necessary to do the work you have asked for, where we use a supplier to operate part of our business under contract, or where the law requires it.
[To complete: name your hosting provider and email provider here, and any CRM or accounting service that receives client contact details.]
5. Data storage and security
Enquiries submitted through the site are stored in our own database on servers we control. Access is limited to staff who need it to do their job, and administrative areas require a login.
The website is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and our server is encrypted. Documents uploaded to us are stored outside the web root and are not reachable by a public URL.
No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your personal information and is likely to cause you harm, we will tell you.
[To complete: state how long you keep enquiry records and job applications before deleting them, and where your servers are physically located.]
6. Your rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop using it for a particular purpose. You may also withdraw consent to marketing at any time.
To make any of these requests, email [email protected] or write to the address at the top of this policy. We will respond within a reasonable period and may need to verify your identity first.
Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022 governs the handling of personal data here, and we also work with clients in the UAE, the United Kingdom and the United States. If you are in the UK or the EU and believe we have mishandled your data, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.
[To complete: confirm with your legal adviser which obligations under the PDPA currently apply to Livezen, and name a contact person for data requests.]
7. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when what we do with personal information changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change is significant we will say so on the website rather than relying on you to notice.
Questions about this policy can go to [email protected] or +94 77 242 4400.
