What we are hiring for

Software Engineer

Full-time On-site Kaduwela, Sri Lanka Engineering
Apply for this role : Software Engineer

Build and maintain the products behind WorkSuite and the client systems we deliver — web applications, APIs and the integrations that hold them together.

What you will do

  • Build features across the stack, from database schema to the interface people actually use.
  • Write and review code that other engineers will maintain, with tests where they earn their keep.
  • Work directly with the people who will use what you build, rather than through a specification alone.
  • Investigate and fix production issues, and make the fix hold.
  • Take a feature from a rough requirement to something deployed and supported.

What we are looking for

  • Solid PHP and JavaScript, and comfort with a modern framework on each side.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and how to write a query that scales.
  • Git, and the discipline to keep a branch reviewable.
  • Able to explain a technical trade-off to someone who is not an engineer.
  • Enough English to write clear documentation and client-facing notes.

Nice to have

  • CodeIgniter 4, React or TypeScript.
  • Linux server administration.
  • Experience with a product used by paying customers rather than internal tools only.

DevOps Engineer

Full-time On-site Kaduwela, Sri Lanka Engineering

Own the infrastructure our products and clients run on — deployment, monitoring, backups and the automation that keeps all three boring.

What you will do

  • Run and harden the Linux servers behind our hosted products and client systems.
  • Build deployment pipelines so a release is a routine event rather than an evening.
  • Set up monitoring and alerting that catches problems before a customer reports them.
  • Own backups and restores — including testing that a restore actually works.
  • Keep the estate patched, and document what is running where.

What we are looking for

  • Confident on Linux: networking, permissions, systemd, nginx.
  • Scripting in Bash and at least one of Python or PHP.
  • Experience with CI/CD, version control and automated deployment.
  • A security-first instinct — least privilege, signed releases, no shared root.
  • Calm under an outage, and willing to write the post-mortem.

Nice to have

  • Docker, or configuration management such as Ansible.
  • Database administration and tuning (MySQL).
  • Experience running self-hosted services for external customers.

Intern Software Engineer

Internship On-site Kaduwela, Sri Lanka Engineering

A paid internship for a student or recent graduate who wants to work on software that real customers use, with an engineer reviewing your code.

What you will do

  • Work on real tickets on real products, not a side project nobody ships.
  • Have your code reviewed, and review it again until it is right.
  • Write tests and documentation for what you build.
  • Ask questions early rather than spending three days stuck.

What we are looking for

  • Studying for, or recently finished, a degree or diploma in computing or a related field.
  • Some programming in any language — what you have built matters more than what you have been taught.
  • Genuine curiosity about how things work, and willingness to read the manual.
  • Able to attend our Kaduwela office.

Nice to have

  • A GitHub profile, a personal project, or anything you can show and talk about.
  • Any exposure to PHP, JavaScript or Linux.

Marketing Executive

Full-time On-site Kaduwela, Sri Lanka Marketing

Take our products to the market — campaigns, content, social and the pipeline of enquiries that follows from them.

What you will do

  • Plan and run campaigns across search, social and email, and report honestly on what worked.
  • Write and commission content: product pages, case studies, social posts and email.
  • Manage our social presence and keep it active rather than occasional.
  • Work with the sales side so that leads are followed up, not just generated.
  • Track the numbers that matter and bring them to the table.

What we are looking for

  • Experience running marketing campaigns and measuring the result.
  • Strong written English — most of this job is writing.
  • Comfortable with analytics, and honest about what the data says.
  • Organised enough to run several campaigns without dropping one.

Nice to have

  • Marketing for a technology or B2B product.
  • SEO, Google Ads or Meta Ads experience.
  • Working Sinhala or Tamil alongside English.

Video Editor

Full-time On-site Kaduwela, Sri Lanka Marketing

Make the product demos, explainers and social video that show what our software actually does.

What you will do

  • Edit product demos, explainers, testimonials and short-form social video.
  • Record and edit screen captures of our software, and make them easy to follow.
  • Add motion graphics, titles, subtitles and sound.
  • Keep everything consistent with our brand, and keep the project files organised.
  • Turn a rough brief into a finished cut without needing every frame specified.

What we are looking for

  • A showreel or portfolio — we will judge the work, not the CV.
  • Fluent in a professional editing suite such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut.
  • A good sense of pacing, and an ear for audio.
  • Able to meet a publishing date.

Nice to have

  • Motion graphics in After Effects.
  • Filming and lighting experience.
  • Subtitling in Sinhala or Tamil.
